…was a good day. I’ve been doing some reading on the history of video games to get ahead for school in the fall. I think it’s so amazing that my textbook for graduate school is on video games. VIDEO GAMES! Could there be a graduate program any better? Nope, there couldn’t. haha!
I’ve also been posting on the Guildhall forums and getting to know some of the people that will be in Cohort 15 (corhorts = class/groups) with me. They all sound so nice! Especially the girl that responded to my house/apartment-mate advertisement. It’s going to be soooo nice to know another girl that loves video games the way I do. I’m usually surrounded by only guys that like that kind of thing. Now that I’m accepted the next steps are to set up an appointment with the lady in charge of financial aid, go look for/at apartments (though I’m pretty set on which ones I want to be in), get everything for the lease in order, and get a digital camera (so I can start working on building a texture library). And I have to get this all done in between the vipassana retreat and cozumel. I have such a rough life… heh I know I’m living like a queen and I am so thankful for every drop of blessing that has been bestowed on me! I know I keep saying that in all my posts, I just fill so full it kinda overflows. Plus it’s a thank you to the universe.
Speaking of thank you’s… keeping a gratitude journal is a very rewarding and enriching thing to do. It makes me feel very warm, happy and peaceful. Speaking of peaceful, the vipassana retreat is in 3 weeks and 2 days!
Welby is doing so much better! She is going to the bathroom on her own, starting to use her back two legs, and back to her normal peppy personality! Thank you to everyone that has had us in their thoughts, I believe all yalls energy has helped alot!
Well, goodnight and sleep well my darlings, XOXO,
Adriana Leigh
P.S. Congratulations to my sister Nicole for finishing her bachelor of liberal arts in sociology! You worked hard and made it…I am so proud!
